DAY 1 - ARRIVAL AT MADURAI AND SIGHTSEEING
Upon your arrival in the early morning at either Madurai Airport or Madurai Railway Station, our local tour representative will warmly greet you. Check into your hotel in Madurai and take some time to relax. Embark on your exploration of Madurai by visiting the Sri Meenakshi Temple or Meenakshi Amman, where you can offer your prayers to the Goddess. Admire the magnificent rock-cut architecture of Thiruparankundram and pay your respects to Lord Murugan at this ancient 6th-century temple. Continue your sightseeing journey with visits to the Kallazhagar Temple in Alagar Koyil village, Koodal Azhagar Temple, and Pazhamudircholai Temple. Spend your evening at leisure before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 2 - DRIVE TO RAMESHWARAM FOR TEMPLE TOUR
Following breakfast at the hotel, embark on a three-hour drive to Rameshwaram. Upon reaching Rameshwaram, begin your exploration by visiting the Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple and the iconic Pamban Bridge, India’s first sea bridge. Explore Dhanushkodi town, including its beach and Dravidian temples. In the evening, visit 24 Kundalas and the Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of India’s 12 Jyotirlinga temples. DAY 3 - DRIVE FROM RAMESHWARAM TO KANYAKUMARI
Following breakfast in Rameshwaram, embark on a journey along the East Coast Road to reach Kanyakumari via private transfer. This coastal town in Tamil Nadu is renowned for its breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset over the ocean. Upon arrival in Kanyakumari, take the evening to leisurely explore the town. DAY 4 - SIGHTSEEING IN KANYAKUMARI
Following breakfast at the hotel in Kanyakumari, proceed to explore the iconic landmark marking the southernmost point of mainland India. Seek blessings at the Devi Kanyakumari Temple, then embark on a ferry ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Next, venture to Suchindram town, where you can capture memorable photos with the impressive 133-feet tall sculpture of the Tamil poet Thiruvalluvar. After a day of sightseeing in Kanyakumari, retire for an overnight stay in Kanyakumari as per our five-day tour itinerary.
DAY 5 - DRIVE TO TRIVANDRUM
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, proceed to check out from Kanyakumari. Depart for the airport or railway station in Trivandrum. Depending on your departure schedule, you may opt for some optional shopping at Trivandrum’s Town Market. Board your train or flight back home from Trivandrum.
