DAY 01 : ARRIVAL COCHIN
Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be escorted to your hotel. After completing check-in procedures, embark on an afternoon of sightseeing in Cochin. Begin with a visit to the Dutch Palace, initially built by the Portuguese in 1557 and later refurbished by the Dutch after 1663, featuring some of India's most exquisite murals. Explore the Jewish Synagogue, dating back to 1568 and recognized as the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth, located in Mattancherry. Continue to St. Francis Church, established in 1510 and celebrated as India's oldest European church. Witness the Chinese Fishing Nets, believed to have been introduced by the court of Kublai Khan, situated in Fort Cochin alongside Fort Cochin Beach. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 02 : COCHIN - MUNNAR (150 KM / 04 HRS)
After breakfast in the morning, proceed to Munnar. Located at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level, Munnar is also home to South India's highest peak, Anamudi, standing at 2695 meters. En route to Munnar, visit Vaplara and Cheeyappara waterfalls, as well as the lush tea plantations. Upon reaching Munnar, transfer to your hotel and check-in. In the afternoon, visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park, open as per the forest authorities' directives), renowned for sighting the Nilgiri Tahr, a mountain goat native to South India. You can also explore the Tea Museum, surrounded by tea gardens, which is the only museum of its kind showcasing the traditional tea production methods. DAY 03 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Highlights include Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothenmedu View Point, and Blossom Park. Enjoy shopping and stay overnight in Munnar.
DAY 04: MUNNAR - THEKKADY
After breakfast in the morning at the hotel, then check out and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is renowned as a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and is also known as Periyar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a wildlife viewing cruise on Periyar Lake, where you can spot a diverse array of wildlife such as elephants, monkeys, deer, and wild boar. In the evening, you have the option to take an elephant ride at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, and the remainder of the day is free for leisure activities.
DAY 05 : THEKKADY - ALLEPPEY
After breakfast, check out from Thekkady and proceed to Alleppey. Check in at the houseboat and begin local sightseeing. Alappuzha has a significant place in Kerala's maritime history and is renowned today for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products, and coir industry. Alappuzha Beach is a popular picnic spot with a pier that extends over the sea, standing for over 137 years. Visitors enjoy entertainment facilities at Vijaya Beach Park, and nearby, an old lighthouse fascinates tourists. Enjoy an overnight stay aboard the houseboat.
DAY 06: ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, proceed to Kovalam and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the beach at Kovalam to enjoy the waves of the Arabian Sea, view the lighthouse, witness the evening sunset, and experience a bonfire on the beach. After breakfast at 9:00 AM, start your full-day tour of Kovalam. Visit attractions such as Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Halcyon Castle, Analothbhave Mathe Church, Fishing Harbour, Vizhinjam Village, Samudra Beach, Rock Cut Cave, Chowara, and Poovar. Later, return to your hotel in Kovalam for an overnight stay.
DAY 08 : DEPARTURE- KOVALAM - TRIVENDRUM
Enjoy breakfast at the resort in the morning, then check out and proceed to the Airport or Airport /Railway Station for your departure.
